Sandpit Farm established 2018 has built up a small herd of pedigree registered Australian Lowlines. Although they are one of the smallest they are not a dwarf breed. The cattle are naturally polled and of quiet temperament. Cows calve easily and are good mothers providing plenty of milk. Their meat is well marbled and tasty. The breed is gaining in popularity as the meat to carcass ratio is high with no supplements necessary for finishing. Equally important is the high head per acre.
